• Weather-resistant steel plate: has good atmospheric corrosion resistance, exposed to the natural environment, after a period of time, the surface will form a stable layer of rust layer, this layer of rust layer not only will not cause damage to the steel plate, but like a protective film, prevent further intrusion of corrosive media, making the service life of weather-resistant steel plate greatly extended.
• Strength and toughness:
• Ordinary steel plate: has a certain strength and toughness, can meet the needs of general building structure and mechanical manufacturing. However, in the overall performance of strength and toughness, it may not be as good as some specially treated steels.
• Weather-resistant steel plate: After adding alloying elements, it not only maintains the strength of ordinary steel plates, but also performs better in toughness, plastic ductility, fatigue strength, etc. This makes the weather-resistant steel plate have better resistance when it is subjected to large loads, vibration or impact, and it is not easy to break or deformation.
• Welding performance:
• Ordinary steel plate: the welding performance is relatively good, the welding process is not easy to crack and other defects, suitable for using a variety of conventional welding methods to connect.
• Weather-resistant steel plate: Due to the influence of alloying elements, its welding performance may be affected to a certain extent. When welding, it is necessary to select the appropriate welding materials and processes to ensure the quality and performance of the welded joint.
